Allianz x Social Shifters MoveNow Global Social Innovation Challenge 2025

The Allianz x Social Shifters MoveNow Global Social Innovation Challenge 2025 invites youth-led initiatives from around the world to submit bold, socially relevant projects. The challenge is part of the broader Allianz Global Social Impact programme and aims to support young innovators who are tackling pressing social, financial, health, or environmental issues — especially in underserved communities. If you have a project or startup focused on real change, this challenge offers an opportunity to gain funding, mentorship, and global visibility.

Benefits for Startups

• Grant funding: Selected projects can receive USD 5,000 or USD 10,000 depending on their category and evaluation outcome.
• Mentorship & support: Finalist teams get access to learning resources, pitch coaching, and guidance from experienced mentors associated with Allianz and Social Shifters.
• Global network access: All eligible applicants enter the Social Shifters Global Opportunities Network — a platform offering potential follow-on funding, training, collaborations and long-term growth opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the MoveNow Challenge, you need to meet the following:

• You must be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of application.
• You should be the founder, co-founder, or main leader of the project or startup — someone with decision-making authority.
• Your idea or project must target one of the three challenge themes:
  1. Move the Mind – Financial inclusion & empowerment
  2. Move the Body – Health & wellbeing in communities
  3. Move Society – Climate resilience and environmental/social solutions
• The solution should aim at underserved or vulnerable communities, with a clear social or environmental impact.
• Projects at any stage — from early concept to working startup — are welcome, as long as they meet the impact focus and criteria above.

Application Process

• Application opens: The challenge is currently open for submissions.
• Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 12 December 2025, 5:00 PM GMT.
• How to apply: Visit the official MoveNow Challenge page on Social Shifters website and complete the online application form.
• What to submit: Prepare a proposal describing your project — its purpose, target community, expected impact, and how it aligns with one of the three themes. Include your leadership credentials (founder/co-founder) and proof of age/eligibility. Finalists may be required to submit additional materials such as a pitch deck or video.
• Selection & Support: After the deadline, submissions will be evaluated. Shortlisted projects proceed to pitch coaching and possibly final pitching. Winners will receive grant funding, mentorship, and access to the broader Social Shifters network.
