FOGDEV, together with Access Bank, has launched the 2025 Wompreneur Empowerment Program — a short, intensive virtual training aimed at helping women-led businesses and early-stage entrepreneurs grow stronger and more sustainable. The program targets women who run small businesses, startups, or home-based ventures, and seeks to equip them with practical business skills, operational structure, and confidence to scale.
Grants & Other Benefits
- Participants will receive expert-led training over a three-day virtual bootcamp. Sessions cover business operations, financial planning, market positioning, and foundational entrepreneurship skills.
- Women entrepreneurs get exposure to a supportive community: peers running similar businesses, potential collaborators, and a network they can build on for future support.
- The program aims to improve business structure and readiness — giving entrepreneurs better chances to attract customers, secure funding, and build resilient operations.
Program Scope
The Wompreneur Empowerment Program is designed for women-led MSMEs and startups at early or growth stages. Whether you run a side-hustle from home or a small registered business, this program is built to meet you where you are and guide you toward growth. Training is virtual — making it accessible even for those with busy schedules or limited mobility.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply you should be a woman entrepreneur or founder running a small business or startup (including home-based ventures). The program welcomes those who seek to strengthen business operations, improve skills, and scale their venture.
