The Geneith Health Competition (GHC) is a nationwide initiative organized by CEOAFRICA and sponsored by Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited to mobilize Nigerian students in the fight against malaria. The competition, which features a multi-stage quiz and training program, aims to empower students from secondary schools and tertiary institutions to become health ambassadors in their communities.

Participants compete for a share of over ₦1 billion in prize packages, which includes ₦400 million in direct cash prizes and ₦600 million worth of scholarships, educational materials, and healthcare products

What Is the Geneith Health Competition?

The Geneith Health Competition (GHC) is a nationwide health education initiative organised by CEOAfrica, sponsored by Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited, and powered by Coatal Forte Softgel. The competition has also received support from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare as part of efforts to increase awareness about malaria prevention among young Nigerians.

The programme goes beyond a traditional quiz competition. It is designed to educate participants about malaria, its causes, prevention, symptoms, and treatment while encouraging them to share this knowledge within their families and communities. By engaging students in learning through healthy competition, the organisers hope to raise a new generation of health advocates who can contribute to reducing the burden of malaria across Nigeria.

The competition is conducted in three stages:

Students who perform well at each stage progress to the next level, giving them multiple opportunities to compete for increasingly valuable prizes. The national finale is scheduled for 30 October 2026.

Who Can Participate?

The competition is open to students enrolled in recognised schools and higher institutions across Nigeria.

There are three categories:

Participants can register from any of Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, but each student may compete in only one state. After an online qualifying examination, successful candidates advance to the physical state competition before progressing to the regional and national rounds.

Registration, Deadline and How to Apply

Registration for the Geneith Health Competition 2026 is currently open to eligible students across Nigeria. The organisers have encouraged schools and students to complete their registration early to allow enough time for the online qualifying examination before the competition advances to the state and regional stages. The competition will conclude with the national grand finale on 30 October 2026.
