Techpoint Africa is happy is back again With their flagship event in 2021, we are happy to announce applications for Pitchstorm, with entries from all African countries.
Techpoint Africa Pitchstorm is a pan-African startup competition focused on amplifying the work of startups pushing the envelope with world-class solutions. But things are somewhat different this year.
What to expect in Pitchstorm 3.0
Pitchstorm 3.0 will strive to identify one startup that best “illustrates” and “executes” on futuristic ambitions of its industry, in keeping with the idea of Techpoint Build 2021, The next frontier.
It will examine how organizations can be redesigned to survive and thrive in tomorrow’s hyper-competitive global environment, as well as a glimpse into the future of industries such as health, payment, and education, which will be shaped by new demographics, global markets, and technological advancements.
Participating industries
Pitchstorm 3.0 will be specific along the following industries:
- Health and Wellbeing
- Media and Entertainment
- Financial Inclusion
- Food Security
- Education
If you have solutions rethinking business and innovation practices in these industries, and your operational period is between 3 months and 2 years, you are exactly what we are looking for at Pitchstorm 3.0.
Prize money
The prize money for Pitchstorm 3.0 is $10,000, as is customary. Aside from the money, participants have access to a variety of options, such as an investor roundtable and mentorship.
How to Apply
Pitchstorm is not only open to applications from Nigeria, the host country. We encourage participation from startups based in all West African countries. Kindly follow this link to apply.
Deadline
From the date of the announcement, the application procedure will run only one month. Any applications received after December 8 will not be considered. Register as soon as possible.
