Capacity Building Workshop For Small And Medium Enterprises (SMEs)

The Bank of Industry (BOI) invites prospective SME to attend her capacity building workshop for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)  to become part of its African Development Bank (AfDB) funded programme which commits $100 million to on-lending and technical support.

The objective of the programme is to upskill SMEs and address specific capacity gaps that prevent them from accessing finance.

The training workshop will focus on:

Accessing SME finance

Business plan preparation and presentation

Development of cash flow projections with realistic assumptions

preparation of financial information and delivery of comfortable financial ratios

Marketing and product delivery

Credit risks

Ownership and management/succession planning

The way to a better performance in a family owned company

Building the reputation of the business


Application Deadline: 7 April, 2017.

Prospective participants must have a minimum qualification of National Diploma or its equivalent and a documented business idea/plan to be eligible.

Documents to be provided: 

A.   Valid ID: Birth Certificate, International Passport, Drivers’ License or Permanent Voters Card.

 B.   School Certificate, OND, HND or Bachelors Degree
