YOUWIN! BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION (ROUND 3)

What is YouWin!?

As part of federal government effort to re-engineer youth vibrancy in socio-economic drive an initiative called YouWin!! Emerged. It stands for youths with Innovation. It is an innovative business plan competition aimed at job creation by encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurial youth in Nigeria to develop and execute business ideas. The accomplishments of the 1,200 YouWin! Awardees were celebrated at the presidential villa on April 12, 2012. YouWiN! Woman was the second edition of entrepreneurial scheme, which was designed for only female entrepreneurs aged 45 years or less. YouWiN! 3 is the third edition and it will feature men and woman entrepreneurs in Nigeria between the ages of 18 to 40.

To this end, we are organizing an intensive business plan writing workshop to prepare youths to access the N10million grant each, on the YouWiN! Platform, to be given by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In the Female edition we helped 5 female awardees accessed various sum ranging from N6.8m to N10m and we want to help at least 20 this year.

• We will teach and show you how to use cash-flow and break-even analysis to answer questions under PROFITABILITY and YOUWIN AWARD section correctly and confidently.
• You will discover 10 reasons why many applicants will fail.

• Your proposed venture must not entail the production or distribution of weapons, alcoholic beverages, tobacco or/and gambling, or any activities in contradiction with Nigeria constitution.
• You must prepare an innovative business concept summary (we come in here!)

 

The Business Plan writing workshop will also touch on all the components of a standard business plans which include:

• Executive Summary;

• business description and industry analysis
• Marketing plans;
• operational/production plans;
• financial plans
• other relevant section
