Participants also engage with entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders from across the Commonwealth.

The programme concludes with a Capstone Week in London, United Kingdom, where founders refine their investment pitches, showcase their startups, and connect with investors, business leaders, and fellow entrepreneurs from around the world. Throughout the six months, participants receive personalised coaching, expert-led sessions, and ongoing peer support.

Who Can Apply?

The fellowship is open to founders from eligible low and middle-income Commonwealth countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Malawi, Uganda, and many others.

Applicants must:

• Hold at least a graduate-level qualification.
• Be a citizen or recognised refugee of an eligible Commonwealth country.
• Be permanently resident in an eligible country.
• Be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Be available to participate from 16 November 2026.
• Attend the bootcamp in Accra, Ghana and the Capstone Week in London if selected.

In addition to the founder requirements, the startup must:

• Be legally registered.
• Have been operating for at least 12 months.
• Have moved beyond the idea and prototype stages.
• Offer a product or service that is already available to customers.
• Demonstrate evidence of paying customers or market traction.
• Operate using a sustainable business model rather than relying mainly on grants or donations.
• Show potential to scale its customer base, operations, or impact.
