West Africa Research Centre Travel Grant (Up To $3,000)

The WARC Travel Grant seeks to encourage cooperation, exchange among researchers and educational institutions within Africa by offering support to scholars and graduates for research oriented visits to schools and regions on the continent. 

The WARC Travel Grant program offers up to $1,500 in travel costs and $1,500 stipend.

The Travel grant funds must be used for the following:

1) visiting libraries or archives that house materials required for the applicant’s ongoing academic work;

2) working together with colleagues at another institution;

3) visit a location for study.

The grant is open only to indigenous West Africans especially those affiliated to universities, colleges or research institutions
