African tech startup founders are invitedto apply now for the Google for Startups Accelerator Africa 2026 (Cohort 10). This milestone edition is an “AI-first” program designed to help African founders leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to solve critical challenges in sectors like healthcare, agriculture, and climate resilience.

About Google for Startups Accelerator

This present cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator is designed specifically to support Black tech startup founders in South Africa.

The startups will be paired with relevant Google and industry experts to solve their startup’s top challenges, and are provided with non-dilutive funding, insights and best practices to improve their product and business.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Startups demonstrating traction, ideally between Seed and Series A stage
  • Building a scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market and defensible growth model
  • Deeply technical, preferably leveraging technologies like machine learning and AI
  • Commitment from CTO and/or technical roles to participate and engage in required program sessions
  • We are committed to building accelerator classes that are diverse and inclusive, and encourage applications from qualified startups with founders of all backgrounds
  • This program is open to Black-led technology startups within Africa
