The UNDP Timbuktoo EdTech Accelerator Program, has officially launched the “Get Ready 4 Timbuktoo EdTech” incubation for 2026. This pan-African initiative aims to accelerate education innovation by preparing early-stage startups for continental and global growth.
Program Details

- Program Duration: 3 months of intensive, fully virtual support.
- Format: 100% online.
- Cohort Size: Up to 50 African EdTech startups.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program, startups must:
- Location: Be based in any African country.
- Stage: Have a working or testable prototype available.
- Challenge Areas: Address clear educational hurdles such as access to quality education, inclusion, learning outcomes, employability, or teaching methods.
- Commitment: Be able to dedicate approximately 6–8 hours per week for the 3-month duration.
