Competition Overview

The regional showdown is a highlight of the 2026 RegTech Africa Conference & Exhibition, held under the patronage of the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria.

• Location: State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, Nigeria.
• Global Prize: $1,000,000 equity investment from Pegasus Tech Ventures.
• Format: Top 10 shortlisted finalists will pitch live before a jury of venture capitalists and industry experts.

Startups will be evaluated based on:

• Innovation & Impact: How unique and impactful the solution is in solving real-world problems.
• Market Potential: Demonstrated market need and potential for significant growth/scalability.
• Team Strength: The expertise and capability of the founding team.
• Pitch Quality: Overall presentation and the ability to articulate a defensible business case under pressure.
