Eligibility Criteria

• Be a citizen or resident of an eligible Anglophone Sub-Saharan African country, including Nigeria, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe
• Be between 18 and 35 years of age
• Be an aspiring entrepreneur, early-stage startup founder, innovator, researcher, social entrepreneur, professional, or ecosystem builder
• Have an active business idea, ongoing project, innovation, or initiative with demonstrable growth potential
• Show clear leadership potential and a genuine commitment to community or economic development
• Operate or plan to operate in a priority sector such as agri-food, fintech, artificial intelligence and digital solutions, clean technology, climate solutions, healthcare and medtech, sustainable cities, the blue economy, creative industries, manufacturing, skills development, or social impact

Women applicants and youth-led ventures are strongly encouraged to apply, in keeping with the programme’s core focus on empowering both groups, though the call is open to eligible men and women alike within the specified age bracket.
