NANSInnovate Competition 2026 for Nigerian Student Entrepreneurs

Who Can Apply?

The NANSInnovate Competition 2026 is open to Nigerian students who are currently enrolled in a recognised:

• College of Education

Applicants can come from any of Nigeria’s 36 states or the Federal Capital Territory.

You must have either an existing business or a business idea you intend to develop. A valid student identity card is required as part of the application.

The competition is therefore not limited to technology startups. Students can apply with businesses covering different areas, including production and manufacturing, trading and merchandise, services, and agriculture.

What Do You Need to Apply?

• A proposal of no more than 10 pages.
• Times New Roman, size 12 font.
• Single-line spacing.
• A proposal file not exceeding 5MB.
• CAC or SMEDAN certificates, if available. These are optional.

Applicants must also submit a 100-word pitch explaining what their business does, why it matters and how they intend to use the funding.

After submitting the application, applicants receive a unique entry code. It is important to save this code because it can be used to check the application status later.
